Are you guys behind with most or all of your subjects?

I am! I can't catch up. The pace is too fast....I don't have enough time for background reading, tutorial homework (chem), read the lab beforehand, revision questions for maths, studying for the ever-coming pre-test/tests/mid-session exam.....

You get my point.

What do you think? and a little help from the second/third year students, or people who are keeping up with the pace please!

Yes, it happens. You need to prioritise. Try and make the most of your time; do reading on trains, etc.

Its hard, but we're getting to that time of the year when things start picking up (near mid sessions).

you'll find that you dont have to do EVERYTHING to do well

i can't wait till the coming easter break
not for actual relaxing but for catching up!!
i think i have to spend at least 1 and half days on each subject just to get back on track!!

i'd say pretty much everyone is behind in something or another

I'm "only" behind in the sense that I haven't kept up with lecture notes for some subjects.

For me more important than the theory is the practical stuff that you have to learn (perl syntax, anyone?). It's harder for me to code effectively (read: like Sunny can) than it is for me to learn jargon.

i would say im around a week behind..
but maybe thats why tutes are for work the week b4..

dont really have time to read the textbooks...but basically skim them, so i kinda get the idea

Im completely zero at calculus, and much behind for discrete. But waaaaaay up the back for INFS . So I guess I have to just prioritise for the tests..

Its got to the point where I write e-r diagrams at discrete maths lecture..
