any info or thoughts on it would be greatly appreciated!
woohoo! yay! someone else wants to do it too!
i
was gonna do something like theatre design or arty-farty-design or writing...but i realised that i'd prolly be on the dole for ten years before i get a job....
so yeh im back to my *original* dream of being an architect...
except i'll prolly go to uts (cos its like 85 UAI baby!!! ... sydney is like 91 or something feck that off!!) but also cos at uts, even though its 6 years, its 5 years part time cos you have to work 2 outta 5 days at an architect's office...and you get paid as well...and make connections...so that's good. and uts is like, so way cooler anyway!!! haha jk..
ive heard that learning architecture is a real bitch and is really boring though...though i don't understand how cos why would people keep doing it if it was sooo unbelievably boring?? and i aint a maths/science person either lee, which is why im going to uts...its an arts course so its more on the artsy design side of archi, whereas new south is a science degree so its more the technical side...i think...and sydney is designy as well i thjink so thats my second option if i dont get into uts...which is unlikely considering the uai should be less for uts..
so angel_kate, what made u decide that you want to do architecture? i think the first time i thought about it was towards the end of year 9, and i was like hmm, i like designy and art stuff, and i
should do something that i can get a job with, and so architecture it was. its the only thing ive kept steadily wanting to do for the past 3 years..
