General Ability is just IQ. However, you can improve it but in the end its upto IQ, not much you can do other than practice like crazy. Reading Comprehension is just about reading fast and carefully as they might trick you into believing incorrect info by making it playing around with the sentence structure. To combat this you can use your general knowledge-worked out for me. You can in a way "brute force" Numerical reasoning by learning combinatorics (Year 11 topic) and probability. Combinatorics deals with stuff like how many ways etc. However, I wont recommend learning this topic as its not required that much also depends from person to person. Writing I am trash at someone more capable can answer that. Dont stress too much unless you wanna do medicine. Good luck. PS simultaneous equations is a MUST. I am amazed by how many year 10s dont know simultaneous equations.

Are you talking about HAST? I thought the math section revolved more around logic?
It does but I am referring to the logic bits which can be "brute forced". Thats why I said its not worth learning all of this stuff because only some questions are like that.
