I think you will find they are hyundai, similarily to japan's ziabatsu the korean economy is dominated by several conglomerates who make ALOT of things.

Hyundai for instance also makes RAM, Daewoo operates the worlds largest shipyards, etc etc.

Oh and 2500 is PMPO which is tech talk for worth fuck all. RMS is what matters.

They seem to be new to the speaker market like viewsonic.

It seems dodgy that they don't have a website for the speakers and don't have an RMS power value.

yes i was looking for the site, and i found www.hyundaiq.com but it only sells plasma screens. its the same brand . but for some reason they put a Q in the end of the site name.

Generally speaking, anything made by Hyundai, whether it be cars or electronics, is pretty average.

Read the website. 2500 watts essentially equates to not very much. The big numbers are just for marketing.

You can compare it to hard disks, 180GB after formatting might be about ~160GB, and that might be 160GB when using 1000 bytes = 1GB not 1024 bytes = 1 GB.

A truer way to measure the power as already mentioned is to use RMS.

More acurately at the same time my brother and I bought 2.1's for our computers, he bought an 800W (PMPO) Oxaki set for $12, I bought a creative 30 or so Watt (RMS) set for aprox $30. Mine are clearer across the entire spectrum providing much better bass response and they go much louder.

the speakers are $50-$60 so they can't be bad...
I would think...2500W, $50-60...must be some dodgy product.
