Mine came totally from my head and personal experiance and now I have to make up my annotated bibliography!

Is anyone else having the same problem? What are you doing about it?

I'm doing a radio play, so I'm listening to Airplay on Radio National, and searching out radio dramas. Then drawing comparisons between my own, and those ones.

only difference for me is that I haven't written it yet.

I suggest researching. Or at least, giving the appearance of researching.
Even i you are writingthe script yourself, use scripts/films/etc of closely related topics, and theorise on them.

Interview people involved in your life experiences and transcript the interviews. We asked our teacher the same qquestion when I first started the class - she said to concentrate on things most people take for granted, like the way people talk and that sort of thing.

You just gotta read up on techniques and the conventions of scriptwriting... what is yours about? What style is it in? If it's a comedy, for example, you can read comedic scripts and monologues and use those as part of your research.
