love those books.
if you havent read them, the off chance is that you have seen the stories: the books were made into a tv series called round the twist as well on abc.

yes i rememeber round the twist... i thought it was gold. and I remember getting really worked up about the "WICKED" series where he wrote with Morris Gleitzman however you spell it. Oh the innocent days where we weren't forced to read stuff....

WICKED was cool because it was the only set of bboks in grade 4 that no one but I could read cause it was the teachers copy of the books and I was some nerdy dude so yes, I felt special... go the slobberers and the apple man hahahaha, deadly was a series I read the first page of and returned the book.

nah, i read them when i was in primary, a good 7-8 years ago.
and roald dahl (dunno the spelling) the twits was the best. that was in year 3.

wicked was really thrilling and scary for me when i read it as a kiddie..sigh.

I love Paul jennings warped mind :D "it was so cool and weird man" there was a huge rave over his un-series - you werent cool if you werent reading his books, as well as Goosebumps!!!!

lol REMEMBER GOOSEBUMPS and all those 'mature' RL Stein books???? im getting exoited just thinking about those days.. ooh and remember transformers & tamigotchis & yoyos that would 'sleep'?!

lol you all may be too young to remember :eek:

Now that you mention Paul Jennings, I have always wondered which book had the story "Grandad's Gifts." It was one of my favourite short stories, and I can't seem to find it :( Can anybody help me on this one?
