Well I used to play the piano, until I just got tired of having to go to the lessons. I did that for about 3 or 4 years. But yeah, about a year ago I started messing around with some old acoustic guitar and playing the occasional song on the piano, and I'll usually sing along with it if I'm in the mood for it.

I think someone should learn to play the spoons...If you can please let me know. I want to know someone who plays the spoons!!!!

Personally I can play the piano, the clarinet and the recorder (I actually did exams...I bet no one knew you can do exams for recorder) I am also currently trying to teach myself the guitar.

I was playing guitar AGES ago.. but I broke my left wrist... so now its kinda monged and I cant play without it killing. bone didnt set back completely so I got a sticky out bit on my wrist. I sing.. but nothing I let any1 hear. a voice is an instrument.. its my alternative. I can play a wee bit of drums, but nothing worth considered 'i play an instrument' for :p

I bought a Violin.. but I can't play it.

It's quite hard, but I really can't be bothered getting a teacher yet.

yep, it's pretty hard. my brother had to get some lessons before he could even play "little froggies sing a song" or something like that.

you've got to get your wrist/bow technique right.

I love Piano!

I've been playing the piano for nearly 14 years and i love it so much...it's a break from studying even though it was stressful in september when i had hsc pracs and stuff...

I have singing lessons for like 8 years but that's so i can get in the conservatorium :p

Finishing all the grades on two instruments is the best feeling in the world!

I'm going for my A.Mus.A for piano on Friday. I'm so badly prepared it's not funny... left learning a few pieces to the last few months, blew through prelim exams without studying, and lost my holidays. And I probably won't get it either because the standard is so damn high. Sigh. I love playing the piano and performing for people, but I hate exams. Figures that I've done nine of them, eh?

I finished grade 7 piano before quitting. The pressure, the pressure, the pressure. Who has time to practise an hour these days anyway.

ive completed 8th grade piano
still thinking whether i should go for another year so i can teach it
You CAN teach. I teach younger children but I just don't put them through exams.
