I dont think its fit to say they are good or bad...

Antigens are things that provoke an immune response. A use for this is immunisation, so its good. But if an antigen provokes a too great immune response (allergy), then its bad.

i hope ur trials arnt real soon sweet candy ahah

antigens are proteins that appear on the surface of things. mayb theyre not always proteins but i think they are.
anyway, everything carries antigens, including ur own cells. but ur immune system recognises them as 'self' so they dont attack. but foreign things (viruses, bacteria, transplant organs etc) carry 'non self' antigens, so ur immune system attacks them.

1.antigens are foreign substances which trigger an immune response.
2. they are basically protiens.
3. our body produces antibodies to fight against antigens

cuz i thought antigen (antibody generator) only apply to non-self chemicals...... ??
