i know that the bands aren't based on raw marks.
but the scaled mark between 90-100 is a band 6, yeah?

and teachers have always told me your marks in gen maths dont scale down just because its an "easy" subject.

i re-read what you said, and we're saying the same things
just in different ways.
i realise what you are saying..
but yeah, band 6 is still 90-100 in my eyes :p
lol, and of course assessment marks have to be taken into consideration.

For question 28 B) i) i did: C = B^3 / 20
is that wrong? coz my friend who does 4U said i cant be wrong coz b^3 is still direct variable....it doesnt matter if you divide b by k or times it by k coz constants are insignificat in the great scheme of things and doesnt affect it as in "directly" or "in directly".
i still said that the price increases by a factor of 8.
