Ok I want over 90. But I have done really crap in all my school assessments. My school is around 160.

Advanced English- 9/80

Biology- 7/40

Studies of Religion 2 unit- 5/30

Business Studies- 5/50

Legal Studies- 2/20

Please dont be too harsh! My marks are about 80-85%. I am hoping to do REALLy well in the HSC....

Everyone says that, but how many can actually super-perform in their hsc?

Looking at your subjects and ranks. I would say mid 80s.

Harsh or not (sorry if I'm blunt) but runnable's got it pretty accurate I think.

Your school's rank does not "push your UAI up". Your school's rank is more like the measure of quality of the cohort. Seeing that its a better cohort, your UAI will probably be better if you have the same ranks.

Don't let people convince you that schools' ranks make a difference to your UAIs. Check on realiable sources such as Board of Studies and UAC.

Really!!! Mid 80s??!!

I thought that if u get in the top 10 for all ur subjects then ur guaranteed a mark close to 90 (if not 90 at least) and that if u get in the top 5 or so 4 the majority of ur subjects then u can definately get over 90!!!

Hmmm... its wierd cause when i type in my marks into SAM it says like 92...

who do I believe?!!

Oh yeh!!

My bf.. got in the mid 90s. He did came first in one subject and the rest were in the top 10! And he went to a pretty badly ranked school... it was like in the late 300s??

Hmmm... so I think that I will just have 2 wait for my actual mark.

I would say low-mid 80s at maximum...
You don't have really high scaling subjects so you won't get that well in comparison with someone who has Chemistry, Physics, 4unit Maths etc.

You can't just plug your raw marks into SAM, it doesn't work like that.

fair enough.

but how credible is the UAI estimator?

r the marks u plug in the final, scaled marks ur hoping to get?

im usin this UAI estimator from alberteinstein.com....
apparently its off 2007 stats.

Is it worth estimating at all?
