hey can anyone who is studying Assyria from the Tiglath-Pileser III to the fall of Assyria in 609 BC tell me who Sheshonk is, we've been given info but its not great and every search i do places him outside the period of study.

Core Study - Pompeii + Herculaneum
Historical Period - New Kingdom Egypt to the Death of Thutmose IV
Ancient Society - Society in Minoan Crete (Bronze Age)
Personality - Agrippina the Younger

Looking forward to starting Ancient + History Extension 8D

I'm a past student and did the core Pompeii, Spartan as the society, Caesar as the personality and did both Greece (until the end of P.W. and the Athenian Empire) as well as Rome (until the death of Julius Caesar). I've got to say it was my favourite subject at school.

last yearr `09 ancient historyy i done
- pompeii and herculaneum < lovedd this topic although it was soo bloody long managed to get thru it lol
- Spartan society to the battle of Leuctra < it was average :p
- greece 800-500 bc < the worst LOL
- hatshepsut < pretty gud as everything repeated itself

Hey everyone. We are doing your usual ; pompeii, egypt at my school, but we aRe also doing the Myceneans. Is anybody else doing the myceneans because i feel like im the only one, and there is so little information on it.

I know this post is old, but is anyone who sees this doing option J, Ancient Greece 4th century BC to the death of Philip II ? Everyone seems to be doing 500 bc to 440bc instead.
I'm really struggling but too late to change now.. can anyone help? happy to pay for any notes , thanks for your help.
