i have an assessment for ancient history and i have to account for the assassination of Caesar i 44BC.

Could anyone please help me with how i would structure this? In my past essay assessments for ancient i have received pretty average results because i tend to do a chronological structure and tell a story, so im trying not to for this one.
if anyone has any info that would be great!! :)

Assume the reader has knowledge of the story.

Write one point for each paragraph.

I.e

- Caesar's autocratic domination of the constitution had undermined the republic

- Roman hatred for kings - Caesar was accused as Rex

etc.,

talk about points, issues etc., back up your argument with evidence

Hope this helps.

instead of telling a story about it just do:
fact, back up, fact, backup, fact, backup, tie in

or something along those lines!

this is what my ancient teacher told me to do as i was always just recounting, no evidence or tieing in. i am getting much better marks now!!!

hope this helps.
