Why is Anarchism so intertwined with the left? Left-wing politics is all about redistribution of wealth, and for that to happen, you need authority. Anarcho-syndicalism involves trade unions, which is another form of majority rule. Whereas on the right, you have lassiez faire economics, which is free markets, and this seems so much more free than socialism.
And while we're on the topic of right wing, why is fascism considered to be right-wing when looked at on a single-axis model? Fascism involves collectivism and working for the state, which seems much more in line with Leninist ideologies. That's why I think single axis terms are really stupid, especially since economic systems and political/social systems are different.
Honestly, anarchism can't really be called left or right wing. Both political ideologies have heirachys in some form or manner, and that is what anarchism is against (which is why feminism and anarchism is so close together I would think)
