this is targeted at yr 11s and 12s but now that highschool is almost over, what's your overall experience with friendships throughout highschool? Will you guys keep in touch with your highschool friends or ghost everyone and start fresh in uni?

honestly, my experience w/ friendships through hs sucked for a lot of it...and I'm kinda fine with it.
High school can be messy haha. Parts of it truly is realising those relationships you had aren't as clear as you had thought.
People throwing your trust under the bus, taking someone else's word as the absolute truth, spouting harmful words casually only to laugh with you at the same jokes you made together a while ago. They're the bare-boned, raw friendships that grow on you and shape who you are. While I'm aware that some of the connections I have (and others) have considered to be a bit harmful and toxic, sometimes I still find myself returning to those short-lived bursts of happiness that makes me continue. Ur right though, at this point there isn't much time left.
There are a lot of people that I got acquainted to though and I appreciate those.

I don't necessarily think I will ghost anyone but more than likely we'll all drift apart over time.

Most people I won’t talk to expect some close friends. I’m the type of person who only has like close friends and I don’t really have a wide circle as most other people are toxic or I just don’t vibe or talk with them. So yeah I def will keep in contact with my close friends especially cause a lot of them will prob go to the same uni as me

prolly would like keep in touch with like 5 people tho. but my closest friends till this day have been my friends from primary (they go diff schools) , so it doesnt rlly make a difference for me i deadass go school js for the sake of going school

I am quite lucky to have 3 really good friends in hs, I have known them since yr 9. We do pretty much everything and text a lot and hang out, so we all are still obviously gonna stay together after hs and hang out. I mean im not gonna block the rest of the contacts I have cuz I think thats a bit rude, and they aren't bad people im just not close enough w them. Hs can be really fun, if u find ur people luckily I was able to, so trust in the process u will find them.

lol I still keep in touch with my primary friends too but Im not too close w them, I meet them once a term to keep the tradition going as I did this w them since yr 7 .

i dont talk to anyone ngl so i doubt ill be friends w anyone after hs, theres only one girl i really want to be friends w from my school after but she has her own fg so i doubt we'll be in contact afterwards, i have other friends from other schools but we talk once a blue moon so idk how thatll work out
