A while ago, it would start randomly not letting me send messages ("the following message could not be delivered.." etc etc) for like.. a minute, then let me again, then not...

It was really annoying. And then it started not letting me send messages at all. So I uninstalled it, then re-downloaded and it's still doing it!! I tried deleting cookies and all that kind of thing..

any ideas?

Can you still use the Internet when this happens? It sounds like a connection problem.

Have you changed any software or hardware recently? Do you have a Firewall or Router?

I haven't like... changed anything with my computer to make it happen. Like, I have a firewall, but it's not new and I haven't fiddled with it.

The handwriting feature used to do this with me heaps. Hasn't happened with 7.5 yet though.

I guess you could uninstall it (by uninstalling Windows Journal Viewer if you have it) and see how that goes.

Well... I deleted msn and then re-downloaded it.. second time I've done that but it seems to have worked this time... or at least the problem hasn't started just yet.

Thanks guys :)

i had the same problem

solution: none as yet.
but i found windows messenger didn't have the problem
and after 5-15mins, it was all good again.

don't think it's purely a network problem as it's happened while on wireless and wired connections.
