identify defence barriers to prevent entry of pathogens in humans:
– skin
– mucous membranes
– cilia
– chemical barriers
– other body secretions

and

identify defence adaptations, including:
– inflammation response
– phagocytosis
– lymph system
– cell death to seal off pathogen

Do we ONLY have to NAME these??! My notes + textbook go into extensive detail about this, and there are a lot of potential 4+ markers about the 1st two lines of defence. Have there been any past HSC questions that have asked us to elaborate on any of these?

First line of defence keep it simple

The second and third line of defence have to be detailed.

Order of detail:
Third line (need to know quite a bit of detail for this) > second line > first line (2-3sentences on the main points should be enough for first line)
