Am i able to use my prescribed text for mod C for my related text for belonging? (1 Viewer)

Ok so i am last minute panicking for a related text for belonging. My prescribed text for belonging is Peter Skrzynecki. I'm currently using The Lost Thing by Shaun Tan however as many have mentioned it is over done. so I am now looking for another related. My prescribed text for mod C is Educating Rita but it is also on the ESL prescriptions for belonging. Can i use it or not?

Get an essay off the resources or off google, look at their ORT/analysis, interpret it in your own way and write a paragraph accordingly.

Markers normally look down on people who use prescribed texts as ORTs.

Definitely wouldn't advise it, my school told us board of studies didnt allow it but they may have just said that to scare us from doing it
