All you English People! Help on Conformity vs Individuality! (1 Viewer)

Hey BoS'ers,

I'm looking for three texts for essays on the Individual and Society!
They must be all different, in other words, a film, song, book, poem, etc.. which reflects society and the individual.
Along with these texts, I will have to extract quotes or techniques which I can explain and connect with aspects of Robert Frost poems.
I already have a film and a song, Billy Elliot and Minority by Green Day.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

1984 by George Orwell is magnificent. But it might be too long for you. 300-ish pages.
