Hi,

I'm interested in doing one of these units to fulfill my People Unit requirements. If anyone has done either one or both of these units, would you recommend them? I've always enjoyed History in HS, so these two units definitely caught my interest.

I'll be doing AHIS120 this year but I did AHIS140 2 years ago and I really enjoyed it. It's really interesting and quite broad. BTW, if you can get Mark for your tutor please do. He's hilarious.

imo AHIS140 is the easiest ancient history unit out there, you have to be pretty thick not to pull a distinction or higher. The content itself is also super interesting, so it's a win win elective. I remember AHIS120 having a workload more akin to a 200 lvl unit than 100 lvl, not as easy to get good marks in, but probably the best first year ancient history unit in terms of the research skills you get out of it.

Cool thanks for the replies. I'll definitely be doing AHIS140, I certainly welcome a unit that isn't too difficult as I'll mostly be doing 200 levels.
