Okay, how about this then ...

Year 10 and 8?

15 year old and a 13 year old?

How's about Year 11 and 9, and 16 and 14?

Re: age difference (merged)

i never really understood a year 10 student going out with a year 8 student, or year 11 and year 9 etc. i never really found it an issue for me because at that age i thought the girls weren't attractive at all.
when i was in year 9 and 10 i was drooling over the year 12 girls haha

2 years isn't that bad, but 13 is young man, like... most year 8s still look like children.

Yeah, i know. It effing sucks.

That's why I was kind of considering waiting til she's in year 9, but then we wouldn't even be going to the same school. What do you think I should do? Riet? Anyone???

IDK, I went out with a girl in year 9 at the end of year 12, which was 15/17. So yeh, whatever.

I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 23. It's a bit hard to judge age differences because it depends on maturity levels and where you both stand in terms of plans for the future. It's the best relationship I have ever been in, and the only one where I haven't despised the person after 3 weeks.

I very much prefer guys who are older than me, but the maximum of years would be four, but three years is kind of pushing it. I prefer a guy who just older than me by a year or something.

Re: age difference (merged)

Hm...i'm going out with a guy 4 yrs older at the moment and it's going fine. If both really love each other then it should be fine huh? They should try and work things out between them.

Although the people I know, they all call him a pedophile... *coughnottruecough*

And I don't think 4 years is a lot.

Thats for sex. I mean 18+ is legal for going out with someone older than 5 years than you.

I don't believe there should be any age.
