Damn that's a big of a gap. I'm 18 and I don't think I could date anyone older than 25. And that'd be my max. That said, I really don't think age is a major concern til it's broken down to career / family / etc etc.

Age should only matter if it's to do with different goals in life
example: an 18 year old girls priorities are say, uni, having fun, friends etc, and the 27 year old guy might be career minded, wants to settle down and have a family etc

Though I did puke at the idea of this girl (20 years old) at uni being with a 46 year old man, who ultimately seperated with his wife (with children). I was like. That's fucking old. I think the age gap increases as you get older - i think yours is a bit to high (in my opinion) - but its much better than the person in the 16 + 22 y.o. thread.
