I'm really interested in doing aeronautical engineering, is the job prospect of aeronautical engineering good? are aeronautical engineers paid well?

When I went to UNSW open day they told me approximately 5% of their graduates get hired in Australia, the rest would have to move to either Europe or the States.

I heard that Russia is a good place for Aeronautical engineers. Formula one racing is also the number one employer of Aeronautical engineers, so there may be a good job prospect there. I am interested in Aeronautics as well, so maybe we can help each other.
