I dunno. I assume that if they catch you pranking them - since you have to enter your student number (and probably pin) - then they'll make a note in your file.

That's freaky...don't they commonly test the trigonometric integrals though?

(int) sec = tan
(int) cos = sin
(int) sin = - cos

I wonder if you can do a 3-way call and get some friends to join.

and about how many teachers will they have on at once? like what's the chanceof getting the same teacher
Nope; only recorded for statistical purposes. Call as often as you like. :D

I recall there usually being around two or three different teachers for the courses of average popularity (e.g. physics).

Say if you have a few questions for 2 different subjects at once, will you have to make 2 calls or will they transfer you?

I don't know. Why don't you call and ask? :)

pfft don't you know anything? when working in calculus, k = constant (just like proportions and series) because calculus is almost always used with physics where c = velocity of electromagnetic photons in vacuo :D

I rang up the advice line plenty of times last year (sometimes for stuff I already pretty much knew...I just was sick of studying and wanted to talk to another human being. :p) I thought it was really helpful, so it you are stuck on something it is worth taking a few minutes out to clear it up. I think they just need your name, student ID, and you have to tell them what subject and briefly the question you want to ask.
My teacher said the people have a lot of the subject textbooks there too, so if you are stuck on a maths question or something, you can tell them the book and page number, and they will probably have it on hand and can just look it up. Also, if you know one of your teachers is on the advice lines and you want to speak to them specifically, you can ask to speak to them, or if they are busy or not there, you can ask them for them to call you back.
