sometimes I get stuck when writing my essay, so I go do another section of the paper and then go back to my essay when I think of what to write

well obviously.. but you should already have your argument, ideas, thesis etc.. already in your mind before you even be in the exam room, and once you start it should come out like that, with no thinking..

if you do 8 pages you might not have enough for the other essays, so dont ever spend more than 40 mins on one thing

true that.... i guess just conclude at 37 minutes... 3 minutes can give u a nice conclusion (i think) --- how long should it take to write a nice conclusion, I guess a conclusion should be thought of more than the body text.

I usually only write a few sentences for my conclusion... but my conclusion is the weakest part of my essays

for the area of change my conclusion was around 13 lines :D... it felt as though I was repeating myself; but mentioning things I wish I talked about in the body wasn't too bad... lol :D

hmm.... but isn't the conclusion SUPPOSED to be repeating what you've said?

it should answer the question, your intro should say what you want to say, conclusion is just answering the question listing the things that you have said to answer it

The question is largely academic (heh!) as of different peoples handwriting, line spaces, and some people are just far more verbose then others, that is they take excessive amount of words just to come the point, and instead of just saying what they want to say they keep going and and going and often even change subject like today I'm going to have some eggs for breakfast.
