thanx, that helped.
The sooner u start the better. Best done in year 11. the selection process took me 1 and half years. You fone the DFR number and tellem u wanna join up to adfa. they'll take u thru all the steps.crissgoes2skool said:Hey, How and When are you supposed to apply for the adfa education award?
And what do you have to do as an applicant?
Nah man I got Rec licence. 120hrs all up so far... You fly???TwoNiner said:You have a pilot's licence already?
Is it a PPL?
Also how many hours TT have you got?
Lifestyle | Defence JobsJust a curious question. Do we get separate showers or do we have to shower together? Because that would be a bit disturbing. And hows the life there anyways?
Ouch. Im sorry to hear that. but your still doing the hsc arnt you? How can they base your school marks only and not hsc? Thats weird. But you can always sign up with the sponsered undergraduate scheme thingo in uni later i guess.Man I was trying out for a pilot through ADFA but they rejected my application because they didn't like my school marks D:< And this is after I pass all their stupid tests. GRR!
The joysick test(which also includes a fun memory test) is for specialist testing, so for pilots, etc.. The maths they ask you is like year 10 standard questions. mostly high-ish level algebra. It's the 60 question(i think it was 60...) general ability questions which really test your skill. Then you have a psych, med and assesment session(which is like a job interview mixed with a test of ADF knowledge) the Officer selection board.I have my specialist testing in this upcoming week and have been looking around on forums and blogs for any available information. So far i know about the computer test with the two joysticks and a 25Q maths test in 20 minutes (or something along those lines). I would appreciate any knowledge regarding the maths topic and/or any other helpful information. Thankss
lol!separate showers lol. They're not communal.
nah, the boyfriend answered yes and he's basically accepted. they'd be more pissed off if they found out you were lying.i failed to get in because apparently i'm crazy. something about antisocialness. so they expect you to go to parties, etc... then answer NO for "have you used drugs/alcohol?" Just my two cents.
