um, not really. 5% + 5% isn't too big. 15% (solaire quiz) + finals, is big.

A bit of advice from me for those majoring in accounting: don't worry about remembering how to do balance sheets and income statements, ledgers and journals etc after first year, you won't have to do it again. In fact I've forgotten most of it.

LOL, so have i ...in fact, only yesterday i was having troubles remembering if the financial position/performance was the BS or the P&L.

I meant telling THAT, to a person who's doing it at the moment and they'll be like :rolleyes:.

All I was saying is that don't get too stressed if you have little idea of what's going on, you won't fail accounting or be a crap accountant if you don't get certain things in 1A. It's just a bit of reassurance thats all..

Are you sure?

Someone I know works in as a partner in a certain CA firm, and he keeps complaining that graduates don't even know which one is DR or CR eg for tax expenses. Basic DR CR are covered in 1A

Alright, I didn't mean "don't worry about anything in 1A" - to that extent..
If you don't know DR from CR then you shouldn't be doing accounting.
