ok i'm am mega pissed, do these accounting firms think we don't go on holidays or something??? I got called by Deloitte and PWC this arvo inviting me in to interviews. they are both on the week from 7th-11th of July. PWC made an exception and said i could do mine on the friday before but Deloitte weren't as accomodating. do you guys think it's fair that we miss out because we go on holidays? i honestly thought they would be a bit more understanding. what are your guys views on it?

They say they will contact me within 48 hours about the result. I take to mean that I probably haven't gotten to the next stage.

I knew I stuffed up.

My answers wasn't that strong. I kinda fumbled around as I wasn't expecting the call.

i dont' choose to go on holidays my family does, believe me if i had the choice i'd go to the deloitte interview. i do consider myself lucky that PWC were willing to be flexible; but maybe they should offer an alternative day during a different week for people in my position, and in saying that i'm sure i'm not the only one.

So there are the "intro" sessions for KPMG and PwC for next week, I wasn't really listening that carefully, but these sessions aren't compulsory right?

I got dates to select. I accidently confirmed one for next Friday.

I'm not even sure if I'm in yet.

I'm not sure how long after I received the call that the date appeared on the page though, since I only checked it after you mentioned it.

So it's a group interview or something. I heard you have to do presentation etc.
