Accelerated Subjects. Which cohort?? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,
Im in Year 10 and I am doing accelerated Preliminary Society and Culture and Preliminary Chemistry. However, I am really confused about which cohort I will be ranked against for Chemistry.

My school has one Chem class from Year 10 and two from Year 11. Who will my Chem mark be ranked against? The rest of my Year 10 cohort when they do Prelim Chemistry next year, the Year 11 cohort or just my current accelerated Year 10 Chem class?

As a Year 10 accelerated student, you will be ranked against the non-accelerating Year 11 students for Preliminary Chemistry.

In Year 11, as an accelerant, you will be ranked against the non-accelerating Year 12 students for HSC Chemistry.

you are basically becoming a year ahead so you are competing with those one year above, i.e. accelerated year 10 student competes against year 11 students and sit's HSC for accelerated subject in year 11.
