Hi, Could anyone tell me where i can find the time for the academic advising session?

I can't see why you would have a mid year academic advising session.

ok, i have received an email advising me about when the session will be held. I am wondering how important is this meeting or is it just for students who are seeking for advance standings ?

academic advising usually is telling about the course, what its about etc. than gets you to fill out forms to enrol, as in what units to choose for your first 2 semesters and if you need academic credit to be processed, you can get teh course coordinater to sign and see if you comply with the policies and you hand the forms in to them. well that was last year anyway.
