so all the signatures in the log book would be my mums.

they check the signatures against the RTA database and if it doesn't match you have to re-do the 50 or 120 hours because you don't have any real proof.

It wouldn't make sense if your mum signed for your dad if you put down your dad's licence number, especially if it keeps alternating.

Couldn't you just forge his signature? Or just write your mum's licence number down for those logs?

My brother did an RACV drive and the guy didn't have a pen so told him to just use mum's details for that drive. As long as the hours are legit, whoever drove shouldn't be an issue
