A Little Info needed for Bcomm at macq. (1 Viewer)

Hey all, doing hsc this year.

I've basically made up my mind to do bcomm at macq, but i was just wondering, somebody in the other sub forum told me you cant do a double major in business law and finance at macquarie.. is this true?

First off, good choice of uni! (..though I'm sure everyone would say that, regardless of which uni you chose..)

...sounds odd (I don't do it so I'm not totally sure, but I worke in the registrar's department (the people who process your UAC and similar applications), and it sounds odd), but maybe that's the case if you're doing B Comm. Unfortunately the MQ website's down at the moment to confirm...

I believe there's a combined law and finance doube degree, which might possibly be more appropriate (if you've got a few more years to spare.. )... but it depends on your reasons for wanting to do busl. May I ask why you're interested in business law?

What u are looking for is an applied finance/B com degree

I think it is offered, but the handbook website is down and I cannot validate this for you. I am positive u can major in BUSL or AppFin, but not sure u can piece those two together.

Anyway under those two degress,u do the same subjects as everyone else until 2nd year and 3rd year, most of your electives are in 3rd year.
