Hi, I'm offering to teach maths/chem/phys to yr 11 or 12 students in 2009/10. I tutor at my place in Marrickville but am willing to travel within reason if you live in the innerwest/canterbury region or live near UNSW (randwick/kensington).

Academic achievements:

I completed the HSC in 2007 with a UAI of 99.95 (Dux of Sydney Boys High School) and obtained the following results:
Chemistry= 98 (3rd in the state, 1st in SBHS)
Physics= 97 (1st in SBHS)
Extension 1 Mathematics= 99 (top 5 in SBHS)
Extension 2 Mathematics= 97 (top 5 in SBHS)
Advanced English= 91

I was awarded the NSW Premier's award for these achievements.
I am currently studying Medicine at UNSW.

Previous Experience

I've had experience tutoring for the past two years. I've worked at MM Coaching College in Belmore and tutored privately (in a class of 13 students as well as 1 on 1)


Rates
My fees are vary between $30-40/hr depending on where I am tutoring, for how long etc. Enquire for discounts for groups of 2 or more.

i'm willing to travel within reason
the liverpool area is 1hr+ from my house so i probably wouldn't be able to go that far
however, i'm willing to try and find a mutual place, such as a library to hold the tutoring sessions

John helped me through complex no.s (I got 100% in that test)

Highly recommended, very good tutor
Lessons are very productive
Even though he is a med student he hasn't forgotten his maths
He spends a lot of time outside the lesson setting work and writing up worked solutions too.

parramatta's a bit far from me but i'd be willing to negotiate another common place
either in city or near my uni, whichever's easier

Just to clarify, the subjects I tutor are:
Chemistry - Year 11-12
Physics - Year 11-12
Mathematics - ask first but I'd be willing to tutor any level but Extension 2
Science - Year 7-10
