You are welcome. I am aiming for 49 as well. But I am ranked 4th...that worries me a little.
Nah you can do it! I think I was 2nd overall after the trials, but my school's not high on the maths tables either. I sometimes think people worry too much about this. If you're close-ish to the top, it's all good so long as you can pull off a good one in the external.

Yeah, I should be ok. Current top 3 were former accelerants who got about 47 each last year but they are like repeating this year too to get like 49. If they all manage to get 48 and 49, I might have a chance...hopefully.

I think someone asked what 58-62/84 would align to and I guessed 75. Not sure/doubt it's accurate though.

I am sure a 62 will not align to a 75 that is too low, since 64 - 67, or around there will align to 90 or 45/50, so in saying that a 62 would align to at least mid 80's.

Anyone know what raw mark is needed out of 84 to be aligned to a band e3? I'm guessing around 53+ ???

The marks are from this site, search through the maths ext 1 forum and search band e4, most people agree that to get a band e4 is around the 65 mark or around the 80 percent mark.

I believe it was closer to the 70%. If you look at 2004 etc scaling stuff they have.

I stuffed up my 3u all year./. I'm ranked in the bottom of my grade. If I can scrape a 70/84 in the HSC how will that affect my bands in the end?

Well firstly what rank is your school, if your rank of your school is like 620 then being ranked at the bottom of the 3unit class doesn't look to good, infact being ranked at the bottom of any school besides james ruse doesn't look good
