I got 55% or something for the catholic last year. Somehow got 86 for the hsc. By the time the hsc rolled around I still couldn't write an algorithm to save my life.

I think pretty much everyone improves upon their trial results in the hsc.

Put it this way, if the HSC test is harder than normal it would be aligned appropriately

What u talking about?, the HSC exams are easier (Well I find it easier) than the Independent or CSSA Papers.

I must admit that the algorithm sections of the HSC tend to be easier than the trials

Bogan...

Bunny: If a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing well. If it's worth doing well, it's worth doing even better. If you are going to do the HSC examination then you may as well get a whole heap of summaries and read them lots and lots. Once they are drilled into your head you should make your own summary and drill that into your head. Once you have done that, if time permits, do as many trial examinations and past HSCs (Not many, are there?) as you can. There should be access to about 7 or 8 papers all up. You won't be able to complete them all, no one could in the last week unless they were planning on failing other subjects. Just do as many past papers as possible and then you will be able to find your weaknesses. Once the weaknesses are found, drill those parts of your notes into your head and then you are ready for the HSC. SDD isn't a particularly hard course to do, and it is CERTAINLY an easy course to study for. The fact that you don't know anything now doesn't mean really mean anything.
