Integration < Graphs < Volumes < Mechanics < Conics < Complex < Polynomials < Harder 3U (doesn't really count)

Disliking polynomials because I never did any work for it... >.< (the complex polynomial work, that is)

Personally, I find Mechanics to be easier than Conics. The funny thing is, I hate physics.

Easiest to hardest:

  1. Integration
  2. Polynomials
  3. Volumes
  4. Complex (This can range from 1 to 7)
  5. Mechanics
  6. Conics
  7. Harder 3u

ANYTHING BUT CONICS.

Graphs and Integration were the easiest, conics was the hardest and all the others were somewhere in between.

Are you kidding? 4 marks for sketching an ellipse x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 = 1 (and of course stating the eccentricity, finding focii, directries and etc), in my opinion, is ... not difficult.

And the proofs are pretty much all generic (eg. proving the focal property etc).

its tedious, not exactly hard

I epic failed my conics assessment. I got the question "Prove that the equation of a tangent at P is *insert equation*"

And I was like "Uhh... it just is."

Of course I got zero marks - but then I started to get it later on. So now I'm now somewhat competent with hyperbolas and clueless with ellipses.

Still, I maintain it's just monotonous and annoying - not exactly hard.

Really, I've found MX2 isn't hard - it's just knowing what to do.

graphing, complex, circle geometry, and integration were easy as hell
mechanics was also quite easy if u knew wat u were doing
harder 3unit + some of the harder inductions were nuts

Have you ever tried that past HSC question regarding the irrationality of e?

.... If you can't even do that why are you doing 4U. Seriously even a 2U kid can do that.

hardest would have to be mechanics
and then conics coz of the algebra
and then complex coz questions can get tricky. Volumes would have to tie with complex.
lastly, polynomials and integration are the easiest coz questions are just really repetitive.

So harder 3 unit is no problem for you?

Prove the irrationality of 'e'? Nope. But hey, as a student - I'm regurgitating what my teacher said. As a student is only as good as the teacher... I think.

And I had a mental blank on the prove the tangent thing... it's because I was moved to the sick bay to do the exam because I was the only person doing the subject and I couldn't use the entire exam room. So I was robbed of air <_<
