ok, I'm a 3u student, but i'm wondering how you guys feel when i tell you that you do 3u probability, that is, probability thats not in the 2u course

pretty sure this course does it in a very general sense.

2u is more about perms and combs whereas 3u just goes into more detail about many more areas of probability. so it's not that odd i don't think.

permutations is done in general i believe, it is not done in 2u but is done in 3u

Permutations and Combinations is done in General and in 3 unit. However in General, there is really no need to learn or use the nPr or nCr notation. In 3 unit, probabilities are more complex, and nCr is vital for work in the Binomial Theorem.
