what why are you guys so talented

the trick to art (at least for me) is to become absolutely insane about something. ideally something that already has a readily available artstyle for you to become inspired by and imitate. and then keep trying to draw it until you get it Right once. then ride that high until the next time you do absolute dogshit and get demotivated. and then go insane about it some more until a month or two has passed and you realize that you've improved somehow. and then the cycle repeats
