someone pls give tips on how to deal with burnout im feeling it bad rn
do small tasks every day, nothing too intense and then slowly build up the amount again. make sure youre taking time for self care and to do things you enjoy still, dont be too hard on yourself either. ik its hard with the hsc so close but you do risk burning out the whole way through it. half the state is probs burnt out rn, i know i am a bit too, so it is normal

whats the difference between music 1 & 2??
The HSC for music 1 is 80% consisting of 4 electives (any configuration of performance, viva voce or composition I believe) and 20% is a 1 hour aural exam
The HSC for music 2 has one performance, composition, musicology (more music theory oriented) and a 1.5 hour aural exam (the part that surprised me was that you have to sight-sing a melody for one of the exams)
The content for music 2 is much more in-depth, about the different music styles like Baroque as far as I know.
Music 1 is much more performance oriented, since my class chose 4 performances for their electives.

My main premise was to take music 1 over sor; even though I'd have an extra unit, its another non-theory subject that relieves some stress from the exam block
