that’s messed up omg. sometimes you’re actually sick and then just show up on exam day bc you don’t think a misadventure would be worth it. so you just have to go to school the day before for no reason? bruh. i mean if they WANT viruses to spread….
wait so some schools dont have to fill misadventures??? even for the day before?? i thought all schools did that, especially for y11 and 12. so whats supposed to happen if you're away on the day of your assessment or in your pre exam or post exam buffer

btw my school makes us submit a full illness misadventure even if you're late, if you're late for transport issues they don't count unless its major delays and there are many ppl late with you. and the penalty would be 10% for each hour missed up to a maximum of 50% per day from your tasks.

this goes for the 2 weeks before or one week after our y11 and 12 internal tasks, even for hand in tasks. is this not normal????

nah nah we do have them, just only for if you don’t complete the assessment/exam on the day it’s due. i thought that’s how it was for everyone. its like, why do you care whether or not i’m at school the day before, if i get it done??? i haven’t done it but i reckon you could show up to school only at the time of your exam and you wouldn’t get a misadventure since you literally just did the exam (but you would probably get in trouble for obviously missing the rest of the school day).

thats still crazy though, my school requires misadventure forms for any sort of absence even after the exam. if you miss any noticeable amount of school or get marked late you'll get in trouble.

after the exam?? what??? but what does that have to do with the assessment if you literally just completed it? why wouldn’t they just lump that in with regular attendance issues?

Is anyone else absolutely fucking slammed with study right now? I have 6 exams coming up within a 2 week span, and 5 of them have a take home assignment alongside it. I had to call in sick for work all week because i actually cannot get enough time to study all of the content + do my assignments.
THATS CRUEL.... what the fuck

honestly I usually do too but I've been trying to sleep more and its doing nothing as well :((( so so frustrating
righttt, ive been told its because of the cumulative effect of not getting enough sleep (like getting one night of good sleep, say an extra 3 hours, makes no difference because youre missing like 30 hours of good sleep so youre still in the negatives and your body is still playing catch up) of course idk if thats how it really works but it makes sense imo.
