PS: You should note that just because one subject scaled better than the other does not mean the subject itself is harder or anything. Scaling fully depends on the performance of the cohort that did the exam and the mark they received.

Thanks for the making the thread, bit surprised at how eco scaled a fair bit better then chem and phy? was this more significant then 2013?

I think over the past few years (in 2013 as well from memory) economics scaled better than the sciences.

Very informative list :) Just one question though, are you sure about Spanish Continuers being in 7th (and consequently a lot better than Spanish ext)? I've always remembered it to be one of the languages which didn't scale as well :\

The ext 1 cohort was stronger.
But since the ext 2 cohort is part of the ext 1 cohort, that means the people who did ext 2 were worse than the people in ext one who didn't do ext 2?

Languages usually always scale like crazy (as in the popular ones). English Ext 1 scaled better than Ext 2 probably because the exam for ext 1 was more difficult this year.
