never i missed lab0 and lab1 last year and i could est it up through ssh

on terminal: ssh -l sirius ssh.cse.unsw.edu.au

thru putty, go to ssh.cse.unsw.edu.au
then type in 'sirius'

pfft, and u call ur self scientists.

dont use sirius if you're gonna make a new account.
'sirius' is for the 2006 era and before of new students to CSE.
'newuser' is the account you should access via putty and in the labs.

no not really.

computing courses in CSE are more of the science of things and the theory.

if you're looking for computing related maths then you should look at the maths courses (they have more in-depth courses that tie computing into everyday-ish math type things).
