Hi everyone! It's been a while =/
I successfully got a transfer to Comm/Law, sweeeeet. And in first year uni, I managed to meet James King (Lazarus, the bloke who made BOS) and talk to him a few times -- he's such a great guy.
Anyway, NRL 2007!
My Top 8 in Alphabetical Order:
Brisbane, Canterbury, Manly, Melbourne, New Zealand, Newcastle, Parramatta, St George Illawarra.
If I had to put them in ladder order, it would be roughly:
1. Melbourne
2. Newcastle
3. Parramatta
4. St George Illawarra
5. Canterbury
6. Brisbane
7. Manly
8. New Zealand
Penrith now have a great coach, but not sure of their ability.
Roosters have potential, but don't have the depth up front. Without injuries, they could make the Finals.
Cronulla -- well they're totally screwed. They got Stuart, then Albert left, and now Ben Ross is gone for what looks to be a long time. I don't even know if that's made the news yet .. but a friend of mine saw Ross injure his knee badly a few days ago at training.
Canberra have lost too much individual talent as well as one of the NRL's better coaches.
Titans are too new to be consistently successful in 07.
Cowboys have lost talent, but still have enough to make the Finals. However, a few early losses will be curtains for them, after a horror 20 weeks of 2006.
Rabbitohs will improve, now that they have half the NZ team. But not enough.
Tigers have lost Prince, which will hurt Marshall's game. If he goes down, they will challenge for the spoon. If he doesn't, they will be around 8-10 on the ladder, I think.
