I've heared so many people say that the 2007 HSC exams were easier then previous years. Is this true?

Eh, not so much easier as that the style of questions has changed, particularly for english and history.
If you look at the 2001 sample papers, the questions seem alot harder due to the question wording and focuses.

All my exams were easy imo. The Modern History, Eng Adv and EEI papers were easier compared to previous years.

The questions were just easy. I didn't have to think before answering the question.

Why does it even matter?

But if you think about it. It doesn't matter because the UAI is a rank.

EngAdv is going to get easier with multiple choice for Paper 1 next year.

I agree with changing the format of HSC English. But MCQ LOL.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

Multiple choice. You're not serious are you?

---

On the other hand, I suck at multiple choice and am much more adept at articulating an answer.

---

But still, multiple choice. LOL. Kids who can't write to save their lives will now gain marks... while the brilliant kid who overanalyses (perfectly within reason, however) a text will now lose marks. Good going, BOS.

Dang, that's what our English and Curriculum Coordinator said. Seeing that no one has heard of it i'm not quite sure now ...

Google; found nothing.

I'll try to get some validity to these claims tomolo. :read:

^ I agree

apparently they are trying to make it harder for people to use preprepared essays by asking more obscure questions

If you look at the '07 adv english paper, BOS had made the questions so easy that any generic essay would've worked.
