This weekend i've finished my first chapter of 1400 words! yay. my second is nearly finished, and ithink my third won't be too difficult, so i think it's going well. Bad thing is i have a biology assessment this tuesday which i haven't started at all! I'm so stressed still, withtrials and everything. On top of that i'm organising my schools National Tree Day for this Friday! Super-stressed.

Hope everyone elses PIP are going well. It's due in a week. It's frightening, oh so clearly remember my S&C teacher to spend 'the next 8 months carefully with your PIP, organise your self, and start researching now!'. aah, the early days.

I need someone (who knows what they're talking about) to read over my PIP and give me constructive criticism. That'll be much appreciated.

My topic is on the sense of self and identity in Korean adoptees in Australia.

All this talk about how you've all been crazily writing and evaluating is making me come to the realisation that this is going to be extremely difficult - actually starting and finishing this silly PIP in, what, less than a week now! 6 days!

No one seems to be in the same predicament as myself... Probably because no one is stupid enough not to have refrained from starting their PIP up until now!

I've written what ... 20 words. That's right, TWENTY.

I barely have a topic. Let alone any sort of research to back up my 'hypothesis' (or lack of).

Doesn't help having three assessments due this week, luckily I only have one left (which I should probably start studying for). Remind me to do my EE1 essay due tomorrow as well.

Also doesn't help that my computer died, thus elimating all my previous stuff that I had done on my PIP (an introduction and a scaffold of what I was going to do) and that my stupid school has now blocked every hotmail and gmail service online ... So I have no way of getting my PIP to and from school to work on it. I don't have a printer either. Haha.

Everything is catching up on me now. Any advice as to the most effective way of researching/gathering data/preparing surveys/analysing and writing up a PIP in 6 days?

Lots of caffeine? Seriously, you'll need to be working on this pretty much day and night until the deadline to get stuff together.

I shared your exact emotions and agonising stress 5 days ago. I was panicking, saying to myself "shit, shit, shit, it's due in a few days. I'm fucked."

Yeah, but somehow i pulled through and now i'm completing my third (and thankfully last chapter.) it's amazing how productive and fruitful one can be when they are really really stressed! Now i've managed about 4000 words, and i still have to write an introduction, log and conclusion.

You can do it becky! channel the stress energy into doing productive work. On Monday hopefully you'll be handing in an excellent, and complete PIP

IT IS NOW FRIDAY.

And I haven't started.

WOOOHOOO!!!

Luckily for me, I have been sick with bronchitis and have therefore not been at school. But it's made me really tired, so for the past days where I've had, "do your pip, do your pip" lingering in my head, I've been sleeping away my problems. Haha. My lack of stress and apathetic attitude is rather disturbing!

I intend to produce an amazing pip - what on I am not entirely sure yet.

I work better under pressure, so hopefully today I'll work my arse off. One of my bestfriends who moved to Melbourne earlier on in the year is coming to visit - and he's staying with me for the next week. He should be here... In about 3 hours.

How am I supposed to be working on this thing when he'll probably want to drag me to the nearest pub to catch up and consume ice cold beers?

I guess it all comes down to sacrifice.

This is going to be a fun filled, exciting three days. I can't find any information on my topic, which has got something to do with how the media as a socialising agent creates our worldviews. Aaaugh. Any ideas? I know I have nothing but myself to blame for this. But hopefully my bullshitting skills will get me through.

What I will be handing in won't have been previously marked by the teacher for suggestions or corrections - what do you think I should be looking for when I go over it? Even though I've left it to the past minute, I want to make sure that it is as close to perfect as I can get it.

Good luck to the rest of you who haven't started!

It's due tomorrow =( & the trials are tomorrow and being in advanced I'm supposed to 'show of my talent in comparison to the standard kids' too much pressure. I havn't even studied. I hate coffee but I feel like it's what I need - OMG.
