Ah, 13 years actually. I deferred for a year. :D

lol ok then- in the end it doesnt really matter, nothing ever does. you spend your time listening to ppl say the uai is not important, the path in which u take in uni is not important as long as your happy, your job doesnt matter if your earning money + you can "always" get another job........etc it never ends/ im beginning to think life is a serious of fucked up and overated events

Oh nice one, I was thinking of putting that as a preference because it looks quite interesting and you'd probably be able to get credit for some of the subjects wouldn't you? You'll probably be seeing Toods around a lot then she does that course.

my understanding was they suggest certain subjects that are avalaible through "strands" of different sciences for 1st yr choices:

earth and environmental sci
environmental and urban
computational sciences
physical sciences
medical and molecular sciences

firstly you are not restricted from choosing any of these because you did only one science subject this yr, but bridging courses are the go

some of these strands have similar subjects most of the time neways, and i hope you dont have to choose a major yet. wouldnt they give you some time to see what you like before they ask you to specialise in the subject
