Man, I can't believe I buggered my first essay up so badly. I ended up with 85, which is my highest mark in Legal Studies ever [and the highest in the grade was 92!] but gosh... Had I actually known what I was talking about I would have been SET.

Did the CSSA trial (even tho i go to a public school)

Multiple Choice - 12/15
Short Answer - 8/10
Crime - 22/25
Consumers - 15/25 :'(
Family - 17/25 :'(

I stuffed up!! 74% - I was 1st tho.
I found out yesterday that i was not first, and I'm not first overall anymore. The bitch that came second, managed to get extra marks in the trial (I have no idea how), and because of the extra marks that she got she came first overall.

I have worked hard for the past two years, and now I'm scr*wed. The bitch has came first has two friends in the class and they were all making fun of me, and laughing about the fact that she "won" and I "lost".

The teacher (who was supposed to be my mentor) heard all of it and did nothing - he even had a laugh with them. I HATE THEM AND I HATE HIM. He has allowed them to laugh and make comments about me in class for the past two years and now I'm sick of it, I am never talking to him ever again.

thats great that your teacher is so dedicated and that you'se appreciate it. Having a good teacher, and good relationship with them is the best way to ensure a fun, and educational experience.
yeah. My teacher is the coolest, she's Canadian and so not a prat :p.
A good teacher can liven up the dullest subject.

we have 49 girls doing legal studies, the top mark was 76% and the average was 52%. i got 65% and was ranked 5/49.

it was really hard for our grade as we didnt have half yearlies so we had never sat a legal studies 3hr exam. in my ass marks my average was like 93% so thats a huge difference.

we havent been shown how to write essays for legal studies, so im basically fu*ked!

I did the catholic trial- had five mutliple choice questions removed becuase we hadn't done human rights yet:
MC- 7/10
SA- 10/10
Crime- 24/25
Consumer- 21/25
Family- 25/25
87/95= 92%, which was a pleasing result- came 3/12 in the year.

Nah mate, that was from the trials- it's the first time I've been in this Legal forum, so I thought I'd post my mark. My bad.
