Consecutive Exams

Just looking at my timetable for my trials I was wondering what the best way is to restore your energy between exams, or generally increasing it is. Does anybody have a way or too that they would like to share? I thought this would also benefit those that have unfortunate HSC timetables.

P.S. Please dont advocate short energy burst things like V or Red Bull... I'm talking stuff to get you through from 9-5 with a half hour break.

Re: Consecutive Exams

Keep your normal sleeping and daily patterns. If you get up at 7am every morning and catch the bus, get up at 7am and catch the bus. Don't push your body or mind out of its comfort zone.

Keep warm in the breaks. Bring a small blanket to put over your knees in your exam gaps, wear jumpers and scarves, and keep hydrated.

Don't try and cram in the breaks either. Read a little, but sit somewhere familiar and warm and quiet and have a little time to yourself. Being calm will keep you going alot longer than on frayed nerves.

Eat well, but not too heavilly.

Trade your friends massages. Its the best. Ever.

Re: Consecutive Exams

make sure you have a proper sleep the night before.

(After first exam)
walk around for a little bit, eat/drink* something, go to the toilet, lay down if you like. Casually look over your notes - but dont get all worked up trying to cram. stay relaxed and keep to yourself.

*dont drink too much obviously - but still important to drink something

Before/After each exam i wouldn't hang around everyone. It just makes me more nervous/people start talk about stuff they have/havent studied etc. Might aswell spend that time doing something a bit more productive - like mentally preparing yourself/look at last minute notes.

I have actually heard that a single glass of beer the night before an exam helps to calm you down and get you a good sleep. Obviously for those out there that are thinking it's crazy- it doesnt mean get smashed.

I wouldn't reccomend it. Honestly.
And you were the one against V and RB as temp fixes =p

I agree. I find that if I'm cold in an exam, I get fidgety and can't concentrate.

basically i've left everything to the last minute and im cramming now.
i've got my bio and legal HSC exam on the same day. whats the best way to study/survive this? they both have a HUGE amount of content and i dont know it. especially bio. i could not be crapper at bio. is it better to focus on legal, which i'm pretty good at, or bio which i'm shit?

lol wouldn't call that last minute.

I have Business + IT on the very first day.
I'm gonna revise both and have a good set of notes on both to go over before both tests.
*sigh* and after those two, cram for english the very next day.

I have Bio and Legal too, what i'm doing is focusing on them more than my other subjects.

I also have Gen. Maths the day before it. Three exams in two days :(

It's not really last minute, you still have the holidays and the time in between your exams.

Good Luckies
