Anyone out there with aspirations of first in the state in any of there subjects???

Everyone gets a ranking in the stae for each of their subjects (but you usually don't know what it is). The Board of Studies recognises those who are ranked towards the top of the state (usually top 3, I think).

If the canditure of the subject is greater than 10 000 then the top 20 in the state are recognised, if its between 1000 and 10 000, top 10 are recognised and if canditure is less than 1000, top 5 are recognised

Well seeing timobro just pointed out that its top 5 instead of 3, I'll be aiming for top 5. Top 3s nigh on impossible.

lol. if i was to top drama i think i might just die of joy and/or shock. but it aint that likely to happen. i'm just aiming for top of the class, that's achieveable
