Call me Siddhartha, and I attend Sydney High!!

I love cycling, my pets, and I am utterly obsessed with conspiracies dealing with the US Shadow government and extra terrestial material.

And my favourite subject right now is Geography - not that anybody here on BoS does it...

Back on topic! (and ignoring posts above purely because I'm lazy)
Hey, I'm Sarah, and I go to St. George Girls. This year I'm doing: Maths Extension, English Advanced, Ancient History, Legal Studies, Economics and Psychology.
I'm loving the fact that I was able to ditch science! =]

Hehe i'm Ben. I'm doing: Std. English, 3U Maths, Chemistry, Physics, IPT and Philosophy.

Ugh physics.. And right now Ext. Maths is easier than 2U for me wtf?

I'd so do Psychology if my school offered it but alas philosophy for me. Ideally i'd go into Psychology but i'll end up in an IT or science career.

Haha, same here. I find doing polynomials easier than significant figures

Never had a maths test where I didn't fuck up the sig.figs. It was ALWAYS the first question and I ALWAYS lost a mark.

Two unit work is much easier (although at times more tedious) but three unit is much less content to remember and its challenging so that's probably why some find three unit easier

You will be seeing sig figs in Physics a fair bit I think.

I'm Lor and I go to Lurnea High School... Right now I'm doing Advanced English, Ancient History, Modern History, Society and Culture, Extension English, Chemistry and Advanced Maths.

... Chem and Maths are so hard. Saying that I'm not a maths person is a huge understatement. I only picked Maths because the only other things on that line were Photography and SLR, LOL.

And my school only has, like, 800 or so people...

Has anyone else noticed that there aren't many people dropping out of year 11? Because almost everyone who was at (my) school in year 10 has returned for year 11...

Yeah, hardly anyone drops out of year 10 nowadays. Either way, its no use staying for an extra 2 years if your gonna muck around and wag anyway.

Yeah, that's his story...

We had no one drop out at my school, but that's not really surprising. Our drop-out rate would be extremely low, I'd imagine. And yeah, that's why the government is going crazy. Because not many students are leaving after Year 10 for apprenticeships anymore. Ahahahahaha.

Hey i'm Kelly, i attend St Andrews College - John paul II Campus in Marayong

I'm studying for the prelim course:
Advanced English, General Maths, Business studies, VET Business services, Legal Studies, 2 Unit Religion!

I thought that u were only allowed to choose 12 units this year for the prelim course? Coz thats what our school told us, that it had changed! Oh well?

It sucks because we dont have free periods!

The minimum amount of units that you have to do in year 11 is 12 units.

Not true... wait, admittedly, I'm not too sure...

You can 'fast-track' and surely do less than 12 units, yes? My school has the Accelerants done with ~two of their units, and a couple other, special students who have completed a couple of their Yr11 units, even their HSC's.

Normally, 12 is the number one must complete, as per the Board of Studies, New South Wales, so that he or she can proceed to Year 12.

Year 11 sucks, we actually have to do work now... Year 10 was just pure bludge, getting so much work is a shock.
