    scholarships in Bsc

I don't think you even need to do that - if you're doing a BSc and complete the BSc adv requirements you automatically get awarded the advanced degree. There's some that can be awarded automatically, but most require an application that was probably due around October. ^^^ Take this guys...

Social effects of getting a 99+ atar?

I never had the random adds, but when I went back to the school to visit in September I had a heap of randoms come up to me and ask me about it. And to be honest, I'd completely forgotten that I even did it because you get over it pretty quickly. It took a while for me to work out why some year...

    scholarships in Bsc

Because they've got advanced degrees as well. Also ATAR doesn't correlate with job prospects - you don't need an ATAR to become a plumber but there's plenty of opportunities and a fairly good salary. I wouldn't say there'd be a huge demand for students with just a BSc, simply because there's a...

    Second year subjects

BSc has max 60cp of junior subjects, so you could do two junior electives and one intermediate elective. I'd recommend WRIT subjects ;)

Why have you had a detention?

    - Year 4: Called a kid a cunt after he pushed in front of me in the line for handball. - Year 8: One kid started bullying a fat kid and I went and helped the fat kid. It wasn't really a detention, more of a "what happened here? how can we resolve the tension?" kind of thing. He got suspended for...

    B science with another degree?

Not at all, at a university level they're completely different. If you wanted to do computer science you wouldn't do a BSc - there's a seperate degree for it. I think at usyd that's also true for ag sci, but I may be wrong. _____________ To answer OP, you're really not limited with a...

    Maths in Biomedical engineering

This pretty much. Bridging 2u to 3u isn't that hard, because you still know basic calculus (which is the most important part). With general you have no experience with calc, which makes it a lot harder. The maths faculty does offer subjects for people in your position, but I'm not sure how it...

    Sydney Uni High Achievers Breakfast

I went last year and I too wasn't sure why I was invited, although I ended up getting an entry scholarship and my ATAR was 98.65. The food was alright but nothing special. You basically stand around and eat and there's a bunch of tables with professors from various faculties there to answer...
